The Ken Saro-Wiwa (KSW) Memorial Foundation is named after a Nigerian human rights and environmental activist Ken Saro-Wiwa. He was a great, profound, and compassionate leader of the Ogoni people and was a voice for his native people when his homeland was being targeted for oil extraction and petroleum waste dumping—which then in turn caused polluted water, infertile farmland, and dangerous conditions to the Nigerian people. Now Fr. Anthony Kote-Witah who escaped violence in Nigeria to become a priest; wants to give kids in his home country a better life.
The Ken Saro-Wiwa Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization established to provide care, education, and empowerment to underprivileged and homeless children.
At the Ken Saro-Wiwa Memorial Foundation home, we expect to create rescue and safe homes for orphans, the homeless, and the very poor for everyone within Ogoni in the Niger Delta Subregion.
Make a difference in the life of a homeless child today. Advocate, volunteer, or donate to the cause.
